Program
Fees / Application / Brochure:
The British American Drama Academy seeks to attract to their faculty
staff and student body qualified persons of diverse backgrounds. No
application for admission as a student is discriminated against because
of race, colour, religion or national or ethnic origin.
Audition Requirements
Students are required to present two contrasting monologues. One of
these must be a speech from Shakespeare. Please put your preferred location
on the application form. BADA will accept auditions by video.

Program Supervision
Students are supervised by group counsellors who have experience of
BADA's programs. Students must adhere to BADA's code of conduct.
Financial Information
Fees (2008):
Tuition £2,050
Accommodation* £1,555
*includes breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays.
A non-refundable deposit of £250 is payable on acceptance to confirm
your place on the course and is deductible from the tuition fee.
Acceptance Terms
Students will be notified within two weeks of their audition whether
or not they have been accepted. We regret that no refunds can be given
later than four weeks before the program starting date. A non-refundable
deposit must be paid to BADA upon acceptance. This deposit is deducted
from the total fees payable.
All students must have turned 16 by the starting date of the program.
Financial Assistance
Limited financial assistance is available in the form of scholarships.
They are awarded in circumstances of financial hardship. Applicants
MUST send in a request for a scholarship with the application form.
The request must be brief and outline why the applicant will have difficulties
in paying full fees. Decisions will only be made after the applicant
has auditioned. Please send a request for financial aid along with your
application if you wish to be considered for a scholarship. Scholarships
are awarded based on merit and financial hardship.
Insurance
Students must make their own arrangements for accident and health insurance.
BADA cannot accept any liability for the student's safety, health or
welfare. A student's health form must be completed by all students and
counter-signed by a parent / guardian upon acceptance.
Application Procedures
Applications are received from January 1st until May 15th. Applicants
will be notified of their audition location and date as soon as possible
after their application has been received. All applications must be
accompanied by a headshot photograph, current resume and personal statement
of not more than 150 words detailing why the applicant wants to study
drama at BADA.
