About the Programs
BADA offers four different programs throughout the year designed for serious students of theatre.
We run The Midsummer in Oxford Program (since 1984), The London Theatre Program (since 1986), The Shakespeare Program (since 1996) and the Midsummer Conservatory program (since 2000.) In the time since BADA began, we have offered over 5,000 students the unique opportunity of studying classical theatre in the British tradition.
A special feature of BADA's programs is its very distinguished faculty which includes many of Britain's leading actors and directors. These have included Sir Ben Kingsley, Alan Rickman, Fiona Shaw, Jeremy Irons, Brian Cox, John Barton, Deborah Warner, Simon Callow, Kevin Spacey, James Bundy (Dean of the Yale School of Drama), Mark Wing-Davey (Chair of NYU's Tisch School), and Sir Derek Jacobi, among others.
